
Change of Address
All non Foreigners in the U.S. must within 10 days of moving, inform the USCIS of their new address with some exceptions such as Diplomats, G-visas and certain 30 day or less visa holders. Failure to willfully comply can result in a fine of up to $200 or imprisonment up to 30 days or both plus the forfeiture of any future visas.
Change of address is completed by;
1. if no USCIS case is pending, by mail or electronically using Form AR-11,
2. if a USCIS case is pending, by mail or electronically using Form AR-11 and by changing the address on your case approved applications or calling 800-375-5283.
