Letter of Invite
For your friends and relatives to visit the U.S. on a B-2 visitor's visa, a Letter of Invite by you to them is often necessary. After writing and signing an original you should consider sending the original to them in a sealed envelope within an envelope with instruction not to open it and present the sealed original to the U.S. Embassy or Consulate at their interview. We recommend that an extra copy be provided to your visiting friends or relatives so they understand what you are writing.
These letters should be "invite specific" and we can help you write in the detailed language that the government normally desires. We can also assist you in providing the appropriate Affidavit of Support as required.
