Premium Processing Service
Premium Processing Service is an accelerated program designed to more quickly initially process the USCIS petition or application. It does not guarantee approval nor can it be used for all types of petitions. Certain visas come and go from being acceptable categories. It may result in a denial or a request for Evidence (RFE).
Normally, responses are received within 15 days of the date of entry by the USCIS of the application into its system. This date of entry may be a few days after the receipt of mailing. This process is often suspended for certain visas with an annual cap limitation when that cap is reached. These typically are H-1B, H-2B and certain H-3 categories.
The petitioner not the beneficiary of any visa must request the premium processing and sign that request form. The form filed must be the current premium processing USCIS Form I-907. The current fee for this processing service is $1525.
