M-1 Visa, Foreign Vocational Student Studying in the U.S.

The M-1 visa application process, requirements and restrictions parallel those of the F-1 visa with the exception that it is only for vocational, non academic purposes. It is not available for language training. Students must depart within 30 days after the program is completed.
